Emanuel Wynn was a French pirate of the 17th century who is often considered the first pirate to fly the Jolly Roger.
The patch arrives in a wax stamped black envelope. Very freakin cool. You open it up and the look grabs you right away. Red leather for this patch is exactly what was called for. It looks amazing on the back of my carrier. I will be rockin this patch for a while.

Solid -- bends well to fit, good color; words are engraved. Can scratch easily though. I wear it every day.
The fabric and embroidery are clean, especially the design and the border. It's one of my new favorite patches. Don't tell the Navy, but part of my uniform allowance might be going to another order.
